How to Choose Concrete Fibre Dosage
Dosage should be reviewed by application, concrete mix, fibre type and construction method instead of using one fixed number for every project.
Concrete fibre dosage is not a single universal value. A flooring slab, precast element, shotcrete lining and mortar mix each need a different review path. Fibre type, length, shape, tensile strength, concrete mix and site handling all affect the final decision.
Review the application first
Industrial flooring often focuses on toughness and crack control. Precast buyers may review repeatable mixing and handling. Shotcrete projects need pumping or spraying conditions. Micro fibre projects often focus on plastic shrinkage and surface crack reduction.
Check the mixing condition
High dosage may increase the need for controlled adding sequence and mixing time. For some products, balling risk can be reduced by suitable fibre selection, correct batching sequence and practical site testing.
Prepare a useful enquiry
Send application, fibre family, concrete grade, dosage target, order quantity, packing request and any project standard. SHWITCOM can then help compare steel fibre, synthetic fibre or micro fibre options.
