Buyer Questions

Practical answers before ordering.

What is steel fibre reinforced concrete?

Steel fibre reinforced concrete uses distributed steel fibres inside the concrete matrix to support crack bridging and post-crack behaviour when designed correctly.

Can steel fibre replace wire mesh?

It depends on slab design, load, crack control requirements and local engineering approval. It should not be treated as an automatic one-to-one substitute.

How are steel fibres added to concrete?

Fibres are usually added during batching or mixing according to project procedure. Mixing sequence and dosage should be confirmed before bulk use.

How can fibre balling be reduced?

Use suitable fibre type, controlled dosing, proper mixing sequence and concrete mix review. Pumping and placement conditions also matter.

Can steel fibre concrete be pumped?

Some mixes can be pumped, but fibre type, dosage, pump line, aggregate and concrete design must be reviewed.

What dosage should be used?

There is no single dosage for every project. Dosage depends on application, concrete mix, reinforcement goal and project standard.

What is the difference between steel fibre and synthetic fibre?

Steel fibre is often reviewed for toughness and post-crack strength. Synthetic fibre is often reviewed for crack control, corrosion-free handling and construction convenience.

What information is needed for quotation?

Send application, country, estimated quantity, target specification, dosage range, packing requirement and any drawing or standard.

After FAQ

Most questions lead to one of four next actions.

The FAQ should help buyers move into a product page, application page, datasheet request or quotation discussion.

Compare productsOpen steel fibre, synthetic fibre and micro fibre pages before asking for exact price.
Check applicationReview flooring, precast, shotcrete, UHPC, pavement or ready-mix use cases.
Request documentsAsk for matched datasheet, packing information and product photos.
Send projectShare application, dosage range, country, quantity and packing requirement.
Inquiry

Send the project condition. We will quote the usable fibre.

Application, country, estimated quantity, packing preference and any technical requirement are enough to start.
